Sales Policy (Goats)
We reserve the right to retain any goat born on our property.
All Sales Are Final.
Updated May 2019
All breeding does and bucks are sold registered with ADGA, unless listed otherwise.
For final payment we accept cash or PayPal. (If using PayPal we will require a small additional fee to cover the processing.)
Because of our herd's size we do not take monetary deposits on unborn kids. If you want to reserve a kid from a particular breeding, send me an email or text with your name, phone number and email, and choice. Once kids are on the ground they will be evaluated and those with reservations will be notified in the order received. You will have 48 hours to make your decision or we will move on to next in line. The price listed is locked in for reserved kids, but may be adjusted up or down for unreserved kids offered for sale. If you choose to purchase a reserved kid we require a 50% deposit within five (5) days.
If you would like to reserve any available un-weaned kid for sale, half their price will hold them until pickup. Dam raised kids will go home when weaned at 8-10 weeks old, and bottle babies may be picked up after 2 weeks of age. Arrangements must be made to pick them up promptly. If the kid is not picked up within twenty (20) days of weaning the deposit will be null and void and the kid will be put up for sale again.
If the kid is already weaned, or in the case of mature animals, a deposit of half their price will hold your goat for twenty-five (25) days. If the goat has not been picked up by then the deposit will be null and void and the animal will be listed for sale again.
Deposits are non-refundable.
We will ship out of Indianapolis, Cincinnati, or Louisville airports. Health papers, a shipping crate, and the cost of shipping itself is all at the buyer's expense. This is typically around 250-400$ depending on the airline and flight length. We also require a 50$ fee for our time. To minimize cost we can ship two kids in the same crate if they are less than 15# (typically before 3-4 weeks of age).
All kids are dam-raised, as we feel that is how God intended them to be raised. If you want a bottle baby, contact us and we will see if we can work something out.
Weaned kids will be vaccinated, on herbal de-wormer and coccidia preventative, disbudded, tattooed, and wethered (if applicable) before leaving our farm. Bottle babies will come with a care sheet detailing care they should receive that has not been had at our farm.
All of our goats are clean and free of disease. We have never had any debilitating diseases on our farm. All goats are guaranteed healthy at time of purchase unless the buyer is told otherwise. However, we do not guarantee our goat's health after they leave our property.
HERD TESTED NEGATIVE CAE and CL August 2017, NEG CAE and Johnnes July 2018
We believe our goats to be show/milk/breeding quality, and if they are not, they will be listed as so. We will try and give an accurate representation of a kid or adult's potential, but we are not responsible if an animal does mature they way we expected.
We will only replace an animal in the case that they are infertile. A veterinarian must give proof that the infertility is genetic. In that case the animal must be returned to our farm before a replacement animal of the same quality is offered.
Inspection of animal before sale is solely the buyer's responsibility.

Puppies are whelped inside our large box stall in the barn, safe from any inclement weather or larger animals. Gentle, older livestock (goats, chickens, etc.) are introduced in the puppies' stall at about two weeks of age. At around 4-5 weeks the puppies are given access to one of our larger fields ranging in size from 2/3 of an acre to two acres, and are introduced to more of the livestock during supervised introduction periods. At eight weeks the puppies go to the vet for their first health checkup and receive their first series of vaccinations are de-wormed. Puppies will be available to go home after their checkups.
Deposits are non-refundable.
We do ship out of Indianapolis, Cincinnati, or Louisville airports. Health papers, a shipping crate, and the cost of shipping itself is all at the buyer's expense.
We guarantee our dogs to be free of disease and in wonderful health at the time they leave our property. We can not offer any further guarantees on health after that.
Inspection of the puppy before sale is made is the buyer's sole responsibility.
